GSM/UMTS Mobile Telecommunication Services-Assessment of quality of service-Evaluation of QoS of voice and video-telephony services and GSM and WCDMA network coverage, on the Alfa Pendular (High-speed train) service of CP (Braga-Porto-Lisbon-Faro line)

This report presents the results of the evaluation conducted by ANACOM, from 5 to 21 April, on the quality of the mobile voice and video-telephony services and of GSM and WCDMA (UMTS) network coverage, provided by the operators Optimus, TMN and Vodafone Portugal on the trains of the Alfa Pendular (High-speed train) service of Comboios de Portugal, E.P.E. (Portugal Railways) along the Braga-Porto-Lisbon-Faro line. The evaluation was carried out based on technical parameters which give a reflection of quality as perceived by the consumer.
