Study Group 3 of the International Telecommunication Union Standardisation Sector (ITU-T) met last 16-20 January in Geneva. The main topic discussed was a new recommendation on international roaming, which Portugal helped draft both at the meeting and in the respective correspondence group. SG3 eventually agreed on a text for this recommendation.
Besides international roaming, the participants also considered international internet connectivity and the International Telecommunications Regulation review process. Regarding international internet interconnectivity, SG3 was unable to reach agreement to revise Recommendation D.50 on that subject.
