The expert group on Electronic Commerce held a meeting last 5 February in Brussels.
A presentation was given on the current situation of actions envisaged in the European Commission communication on electronic commerce, highlighting the initiative on the notice and action procedures set out in the electronic commerce directive.
Also discussed was the pilot project to extend the internal market information (IMI) system to notifications in the scope of the electronic commerce directive, and preliminary results of an EC study on that directive’s transposition in the member states.
