ANACOM launches eNTFA

As from today, Portugal's National Table of Frequency Allocations is available over an electronic platform (eNTFA) that users can search to find information.

With the eNTFA, users can consult information, searching dynamically and interactively, on the planning and use of frequencies in Portugal. In particular, the eNTFA provides information on national radio spectrum allocations and usage, reserved frequency bands and bands to be made available for future use, as well as information on spectrum usage which is exempt from radio licensing and on radio interfaces.

In addition to enabling users to consult information in a national context, the eNTFA aims to provide the elements required for the ECO Frequency Information System (EFIS), in accordance with Commission Decision 2007/344/EC of 16 May. The EFIS identifies information on radio spectrum usage in the European Union, allows simple and fast queries and comparisons of spectrum usage in the various European countries and is structured in accordance with Decision ECC/DEC/(01)03 of the European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations (CEPT).
