The BEREC Contact Network held a meeting last 6-7 February in Riga, chaired by the Swedish Post and Telecom Agency (PTS), Sweden’s national regulator, and vice-chaired by ANACOM.
Discussion in the scope of the working groups focused on latest developments regarding the proposed connected continent regulation, the report on monitoring the quality of internet access services in the net neutrality (NN) context and the international roaming benchmark. Also examined were the proposed communication plans for BEREC, the memorandum of understanding between BEREC and the Euro-Mediterranean Regulators Group (EMERG) and the creation of a supervisory group for the Office. Several issues concerning the Office were also discussed, among them the financial report, the proposed 2015 budget and the personnel plan.
