The IRG General Assembly took place last 27 February in Stockholm, focusing on the following issues: the proposed regulation on the connected continent, the workshop on next generation access (NGA) networks in Switzerland (budget, programme, speakers), internet-related issues such as the move of the IRGnet provider, and the videoconferencing system for the IRG’s offices in Brussels. The 2013 annual financial report and the hiring of a junior staff member for the IRG were also examined.
