The V Lusophone Forum of Communications is taking place on 23 and 24 April 2014 in Maputo, Mozambique, on the theme ''CPLP Communications in the Digital Age''. The Forum is hosted by CPLP-ARCTEL - Associação de Reguladores de Comunicações e Telecomunicações da Comunidade dos Países de Língua Portuguesa (Association of Communications and Telecommunications Regulators of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries) and will address the following topics: i) The Internet governance model; ii) The postal service and e-commerce; iii) Interactive digital television, as a sure shortcut to digital inclusion; iv) International digital Infrastructure: submarine cables and data centres.
Alongside the Forum, the IV Technology Exhibition will provide telecom sector participants with an ideal environment to promote their activities and interact with representatives from all the countries of the Portuguese-speaking world in one place.
These two initiatives are preceded by the VI General Assembly of ARCTEL-CPLP on 21 and 22 April, in which ANACOM will participate.
