The project team on Technical Regulatory Issues (PT TRIS) of the ECC working group on Numbering and Networks (WG NaN) met last 18-19 March in the Swiss city of Biel/Bienne, at the invitation of the Swiss regulator, the Federal Office of Communications (OFCOM).
The following issues were discussed and examined:
- report on practices associated to the registry of telecommunications infrastructures;
- quality in access to internet service (QoS) - recommendations on best practices for comparison of QoS and contracts and complaints referring to QoS;

A presentation on the latter was given by Swisscom, indicating its strategy for gradual migration from PSTN/ISDN to NGN networks.
