On 23 May 2014, ANACOM decided that the rate of cost of capital to be applied by PT Comunicações (PTC) in the 2014 financial year, in the context of the results of the SCA - Sistema de Contabilidade Analítica (Analytical Accounting System) of 2014, shall be 10.42 per cent. This rate was defined in accordance with the methodology to be used for calculating the cost of capital of PTC, as approved by determination of 5 December 2013.
