Draft decision on DTT terrestrial coverage obligations

By determination of 4 July 2014, ANACOM has approved a draft decision on the definition of terrestrial coverage obligations to be included in the right of use of frequencies (DUF ICP-ANACOM no. 06/2008) allocated to PT Comunicações (PTC), in the context of digital terrestrial television (DTT).

It was decided to submit this draft decision to the prior hearing of PTC for a period of 20 working days, counted from the date of its notification, and also to the general consultation procedure, as laid down in article 8 of Lei das Comunicações Eletrónicas (Electronic Communications Law - Law no. 5/2004 of 10 February, as amended and republished by Law no. 51/2011 of 13 September), whereby interested parties are also given a period of 20 working days to comment in writing.
