The Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC) is hosting a workshop on 25 February 2015, in Bern, Switzerland, on Oligopoly Analysis and Regulation.
The workshop's objective is to trigger additional internal reflection regarding the application of the existing regulatory framework to oligopolistic situations and their impact on the market regulation. The issues under discussion will include the trends leading to oligopolistic market structures (namely mergers and acquisitions in the European Union) and market analysis in the context of potential oligopolistic situations.
Participation is subject to prior registration on BEREC's website by 01 February.
