Fátima Barros met last 9 March 2015 at ANACOM's offices in Lisbon with Theo Bertram, Google's Public Policy Manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
The Google official highlighted the company's investments in Europe and described some of the projects representing challenges in the area of regulation and spectrum management. Among other subjects, the discussion focused on challenges facing the Loom project, which consists of using aerostatic balloons to provide mobile broadband service in rural areas, and the Titan project, which involves the use of unmanned vehicles (drones) for the same purpose.
