A videoconference was held last 26 November between the chair and vice-chairs of BEREC and the Independent Regulators Group (IRG). They especially focused on preparing BEREC’s response to the European Commission (EC) regarding the review of the communications regulatory framework, gathering of information to respond to some data requests from the EC and the preparation of BEREC plenary meetings and the IRG general assembly to be held in London on 10-11 December. Several administrative aspects concerning how the BEREC Office and IRG operate were also dealt with.
The participants were Fátima Barros (chair of ANACOM’s board of directors, who also heads BEREC and the IRG in 2015), Wilhelm Eschweiler (BNetzA), Ola Bergstrom (PTS), Lidia Kozlowska (UKE), Kevin O’Brien (ComReg) and Marc Furrer (ComCom).
