UPU releases data on postal development

The Universal Postal Union (UPU) has released the Integrated Index for Postal Development, providing an overview of postal development around the world, with the results for 2016 covering over 170 countries.

The publication warns that regional differences in postal development persist (and are even increasing), threatening the relevance of postal infrastructure.

The performance of Switzerland, France and Japan is highlighted, as offering consumers excellent quality of service and global connectivity.
