The Chair of ANACOM presided over the annual meeting of the heads of the national communications authorities of Portuguese-speaking countries, which took place in Dili on 19 and 20 March 2018.
It was the first time that Timor-Leste hosted this meeting, and it was organized by the Autoridade Nacional de Comunicações (National Communications Authority - ANC), the national regulator. It provided an opportunity to share experiences related to the regulation of the communications sector in the Portuguese-speaking countries and to plan future joint initiatives. ANACOM has expressed a clear commitment to strengthen the cooperation and technical assistance ties it has maintained with all the regulators present at this meeting.
