A European Commission (EC) workshop on development of a costing model for wholesale fixed termination service was held in Brussels last 23 October. The aim was to evaluate the cost of providing wholesale voice call termination services in fixed networks in countries of the European Union/European Economic Area. If deemed appropriate, the EC should by December 2020 take legislative steps regarding the wholesale price of that service. For that purpose, the EC has selected AXON Partners Group Consulting to help it during the respective process, slated to begin with the holding of a workshop on 23 October (attended by ANACOM).
