The Portuguese Accreditation Institute (Instituto Português de Acreditação - IPAC) renewed the accreditation of ANACOM's Testing and Calibration Laboratory (LEC), following the monitoring evaluation carried out by this Institute in June 2018.
LEC's mission is to validate the conformity of radiocommunications equipment, thus contributing to the modernization of electronic communications in Portugal, always aiming at consumer protection.
The laboratory presents a structure based on three operational areas: electromagnetic compatibility tests, radioelectric tests and calibration of equipment. The Laboratory also has a support area for operational areas - metrological quality.
