The Ipv6 Task Force has presented, on 5 November, a situation report on the IPv6 Protocol development, in Europe.
This report, elaborated in the first half of the second phase of the Task Force works, was presented to European Commission (EC) to be submitted to European Council, where a set of recommendations is highlighted and directed to Members State governments of European Union (UE), to EC and to industry, with respect to the necessity for accomplishing the calendars that were defined by EU about this Internet protocol, being of great importance for the achievement of the eEurope Plan 2005 goals.
