Decision on the CTT request to remove post affected by the passage of Hurricane Lorenzo in the Autonomous Region of the Azores from the calculation of IQS

On 13 February 2020, ANACOM granted the request submitted by CTT - Correios de Portugal (CTT) for the deduction of the records of postage of:

a) posting standard mail, standard orders and newspapers and periodicals published more than weekly, dispatched to or from the islands of the Central and Western groups of the Autonomous Region of the Azores (ARA), from 30 September 2019 to 2 October 2019 (inclusive); and

b) posting priority mail, newspapers and periodicals with a periodicity published up to and including weekly and registered mail, dispatched from or to the islands of the Central and Western groups of ARA, on 1 and 2 October 2019 (inclusive);

directly affected by disruptions to air traffic in the airports of the ARA caused by hurricane Lorenzo, for the purpose of calculating the indicator of quality of service (IQS) values for September and October 2019.
