Approval of the concept of unfair burden in the provision of broadband Internet access services

On 27 September 2021, ANACOM approved the final decision on the concept of unfair burden in the provision of broadband Internet access services, in accordance with paragraph 5 of article 6 of Decree-Law No 66/2021https://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1687781, of 30 July.

The prior hearing and public consultation report was also approved, concerning the procedures to which the respective draft decisionhttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1697940, approved on 12 August 2021, had been submitted, and within the scope of which timely contributions were received from the following bodies: FastFiber - Infraestruturas de Comunicação; Fibrogobal - Comunicações Electrónicas; Gardunha Networks; MEO - Serviços de Comunicações e Multimédia; NOS, SGPS on behalf of its subsidiaries NOS Comunicações, NOS Açores Comunicações and NOS Madeira Comunicações (NOS Group); NOWO - Communications; SUMAMOVIL Portugal; Associação dos Operadores de Comunicações Eletrónicas (APRITEL); Associação IUS OMNIBUS; and also 3 citizens.
