On 29 April 2021, ANACOM approved the final decision on the methodology for calculating the net costs of the universal postal service.
Approval was given also to the report on the public consultation to which the respective draft decisionhttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1550681, which had been approved by ANACOM on 26 June 2020, was submitted, procedure under which contributions were received, within the deadline, from the following bodies: Regional Department of Transport and Public Works of the Autonomous Region of the Azores (SRTOP Azores), Faro Municipal Council (MC) ; Odivelas MC; Folques (Arganil) Civil Parish Council (CPC); São Bento (Porto de Mós) CPC; Roberto Tavares, a citizen; CTT - Correios de Portugal (CTT); Premium Green Mail (PGM); Associação de Imprensa de Inspiração Cristã (AIIC – the Christian Inspiration Press Association), Associação Portuguesa de Imprensa (API – the Portuguese Press Association) and Associação Portuguesa de Marketing Directo (AMD – the Portuguese Direct Marketing Association)1; Associação Portuguesa para a Defesa do Consumidor (DECO – the Portuguese Association for Consumer Protection) and Sindicato Nacional dos Trabalhadores dos Correios e Telecomunicações (SNTCT – the National Union of Postal and Telecommunications Workers).
