Recommendation aimed at mitigating the impact of the rising cost of living on access to electronic communications services

By decision dated 25 October 2022, ANACOM approved a recommendation addressed to providers of publicly available electronic communications services with a view to mitigating the impact of the rising cost of living on access to electronic communications services.

ANACOM believes that there are important economic and social reasons which should be duly considered by companies in the sector in the context of any revisions of the prices of electronic communications services to take place in the coming months, having considered it relevant to recommend to providers of publicly available electronic communications services the adoption of seven measures aimed at supporting consumers during this exceptional period.
