COCOM - Brussels

The 21st meeting of the Communications Committee was held on 5 April in Brussels. Highlights included analysis of the reports on VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol), powerline communications (PLC) and access by consumers with special needs to electronic communications services. Also presented was a new version of the lists of standards to publish under article 17 of the Framework Directive. The next meeting will be held on 21 June 2006.
