Interconnection regime for access to data transmission services

By determination of 14 November 2002 and considering that the current tariffs pertaining to the access service to the data transmission service to operators and service providers does not clearly reflect the differentiation factor of prices between free and non-free calls, taking into account that, in technical terms, there is no constraint in the availability of this service in 2 Mbit/s with SS#7 circuits and considering the applicable regulations obligations, namely the cost orientation principle, it was decided to ask PT Comunicações, S.A. to revise the data transmission service offer, within 15 days, so as to: (i) adequately relate prices to costs, in the cases where invoicing and collection costs are avoided (free calls) and (ii) also foresee the availability of this service in 2 Mbit/s with SS#7 circuits.
