The European Communications Office (ECO), which results from the merger of the European Telecommunications Office (ETO) and the European Radiocommunications Office (ERO), begins its functions on 1 July 2009.
The ECO operates as a permanent secretariat of the CEPT, supporting the activities of the tripartite Presidency and the working groups.
