URSI - International Union of Radio Science is a non-governmental and non-profit making organisation under the auspices of the International Council of Scientific Unions. Its aim is to encourage and coordinate, at an international level, studies, research, applications, scientific exchanges and information sharing in the area of radio electricity sciences.
The 2nd Congress of the Portuguese Committee of URSI is being held on 20 and 21 November, with the first day focusing on the subject of "Electromagnetic Compatibility and New Radiocommunications Services", and the second day reserved for the presentation of International Projects. An exhibition will held in parallel on equipment and systems.
All interested parties are invited to submit original papers on the following areas:

Rules governing submission of papers
Summaries of the communications should be submitted no later than 20 October 2008, in PDF format, by email to mailto:congresso_ursi@anacom.pt congresso_ursi@anacom.ptmailto:congresso_ursi@anacom.pt. The official language of the conference is Portuguese, but communications in English and Spanish are also accepted.
