Guarda Cybercentre and Localvisão TV signed a protocol on 19 December with the aim of launching a TV channel using IPTV (regular web TV broadcasts), involving 14 channels with regional content for the 14 districts of Guarda.
The ceremony of the project's public presentation, including the protocol's signing, took place at 3.30pm in Guarda Cybercentre's Chapel.
Localvisão TV is a regional television project, with national scope, which focuses on programming which reaches all the municipalities of the country.
The objectives of this local television project in Guarda are to promote awareness of the region in the country and around the world, and establish a point of convergence for emigrant communities.
