The aim of this study, carried out by Ecorys at the request of the European Commission, is to identify, quantify and examine the main developments of the postal sector with respect to the application of the Postal Directive, in particular in regulatory, economic, social, consumption and employment terms, as well as in terms of quality of service and technological developments.
Due to a number of inaccuracies and the need to provide some clarifications on the Portuguese data, the corresponding communication of ANACOM has been released, which was sent to the European Commission and Ecorys in October 2008.
