Under the terms of articles 21 and 22 of Decree-Law no. 381-A/97, of 30 December, the Board of Directors of the Instituto das Comunicações de Portugal (ICP), decided on 5 December 2000 to modify the frequency plan as set out below:
1. 1. To reserve the following frequency bands for DVB-T:
a) seven shared radio channels, 8 MHz each, on the 470 - 582 MHz band, with the scope of geographic use;
b) nineteen shared radio channels, 8 MHz each, on the 582 - 862 MHz band, with the scope of geographic use;
c) two exclusive radio channels, 8 MHz each, on the 582 - 862 MHz band, with the scope of geographic use.
2.2. The granting of frequencies shall be carried out by means of a public tender under the terms of Decree-Law no. 381-A/97, of 30 December.
