Law no. 27/2007 (Television Law) has been published in the Diário da República (Official Gazette) on 30 July 2007, providing for the access to and performance of the television activity. This statutory instrument repeals Decree-Law no. 237/98, of 5 August, and Law no. 32/2003, of 22 August, notwithstanding the fact that articles 4 and 5 hereof remain in force until the entry into force of the new legal framework that governs the openness and concentration in media ownership.
