Resolution of the Assembly of the Republic no. 7/2000 and Decree of the President of the Republic no. 11/2005 were published on 15 February, respectively approving for ratification and ratifying the amendments of the agreement relating to the INTELSAT and those of the respective Operating Agreement.
The amendments under consideration were adopted in 2000, at the 25th Assembly of Parties of that Organization, the current designation of which is International Telecommunications Satellite Organization (ITSO).
