As mentioned with regard to electronic communications, by determination of 21 May 2008, ICP-ANACOM adopted an analysis of the impact, also with regard to postal services, of the amendment of Law no. 23/96 of 26 July (Essential Public Services Law) by the Law no. 12/2008 of 26 February.
The main changes arising from this Law are detailed in section ''2.7.4.1. Analysis of the impact of the amendment of Essential Public Services Law''.
