In January 2012 and with immediate effect, Optimus renounced the right of use of the block of 2x5 MHz of UMTS FDD frequencies, corresponding to 1954.9 - 1959.9 MHz (uplink) and 2144.9 - 2149.9 MHz (downlink), thereby requiring the adaptation of Right of Use of Frequencies ICP-ANACOM no. 01/2010 and of the respective radio license no. 507034. This request did not, as clarified by Optimus, undermine the obligations set out in the right of use of frequencies.
Optimus had its application granted by ICP-ANACOM determination of 3 February 2012, and re-adaptation of the title was included in the new title supporting the rights of use approved following the multi-band auction on 9 March 2012 - title no. 01/2012.
