- Assembly of Parties, Washington, 1971 - At this Assembly, the Agreement and the Operating Agreement of Intelsat were approved. The Convention was ratified by the Decree no. 124/72 of 19 April and by the Notice of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs. The Operation Agreement was ratified by the Decree-Law no.169/72 of 16 May.
- 19th and 20th Assemblies of Parties, respectively in Venezuela and Copenhagen, 1994 and 1996 - At these Assemblies, amendments were approved to the Agreement and the Operating Agreement of Intelsat. These amendments were ratified by the Decree no. 17/97 of 12 April, subsequently rectified by the Statement of Rectification no. 21-C/97 of 29 November, and by the Decree no. 43/97 of 30 August.
- 25th Assembly of Parties, Washington, 2000 - At this Assembly, amendments were made to the Agreement and the Operating Agreement of Intelsat.These amendments were approved, for ratification, by the
