Radio Communication Services

/ Updated on 08.11.2002

For the very first time in 2000 was a negative growth observed in these services (1,4%) (Figure 20). There was a drop in the number of licences in force for radio communication service stations, with 1,408 licences compared with 1999. It could very well be assumed that a new evolutionary cycle of these services has begun, which is related, in overall terms, to a drop in the number of licences. The exception being licences related to radio broadcasting and public utility communications, where the number has risen (Chart 1).
