Various adhesion contracts were analysed in 2002, and three were approved. On the other hand, the procedures to approve draft adhesion contracts for the provision of fixed telephone service and for the provision of public use telecommunications service were declared void due to abandonment, as the corresponding processes had been stalled for more than six months, for reasons imputable to the companies applying (determination of 14 November 2002).
4.1.1 Adhesion contracts
ICP-ANACOM analyses the adhesion contracts submitted by the telecommunications service providers to carry out their activities, in order to safeguard a minimum level of protection for consumers. The analysis covers various subjects, such as data protection, access to audiotext services and information for consumers, i.e., areas in which ICP-ANACOM may be called upon to take part.
