By determination of 14 January 2010, ANACOM has approved the draft decision on the definition of relevant wholesale markets for voice call termination on individual mobile networks (market 16 of Commission Recommendation 2003/311/EC of 11 February and current market 7 of European Commission Recommendation 2007/879/EC of 17 December), the assessment of SMP in these markets and the imposition, maintenance, amendment or withdrawal of associated regulatory obligations.
Approval was likewise given to the draft decision on the details of the implementation of the obligation to control prices in this market.
Both drafts are subject to the general consultation procedure as set out in Article 8 of the Law of Electronic Communications (Law No 5/2004 of 10 February), as well as to the procedure of prior hearing of interested parties, under the terms established by Articles 100 and 101 of the Code of Administrative Procedure, whereby a period of 20 working days is provided for comments in the context of these processes. Accordingly, comments must be received no later than 17 February 2010 and should preferably be sent by e-mail to consulta-mercado7@anacom.pt. Each email may contain one or more files as long as the total size of all files does not exceed 10 megabytes and, if necessary, comments may be divided into two or more emails.
Once the consultation process is concluded, the responses given will be published on this website, whereby interested parties should clearly indicate any items considered confidential.
