ANACOM has approved, on 24 June 2005, the draft decision concerning the retention of PT Comunicações (PTC) in fixed-mobile traffic, which resolves that PTC must gradually reduce its retention amount in this traffic to better reflect current European costs and practices, in accordance with the timetable defined for this purpose. The retention amount’s level of orientation toward costs will be revisited in 2007, notwithstanding any additional measures which may be deemed opportune and appropriate.
Interested parties were notified to voice their opinions on this draft decision within a period of 20 working days, in accordance with the procedure established in the Code of Administrative Procedure.
