By determination of 10 March 2010 ANACOM has approved the assessment procedure manuals of ITED (telecommunications infrastructure in buildings), 2nd edition, and of ITUR (telecommunications infrastructure in housing developments, urban settlements and concentrations of building), 1st edition.
According to article 105 of Decree-Law No. 123/2009 of 21 May, these procedures are binding upon the installers of such infrastructure.
Approval was likewise given to the report on the general consultation procedure to which these documents were submitted, pursuant to determination of 2 December 2009 and in respect of which comments were received from the following undertakings: ACIST - Associação de Comerciantes de Instalações e Sistemas de Telecomunicações, Albino Vieira, ISQ - Instituto de Soldadura e Qualidade, PT Comunicações, Onicommunications, Retrica - Aparelhagem Eléctrica e Telecvis - Telecomunicações.
