XVIII Forum of the Association of Postal and Telecommunications Operators Countries and Territories with Portuguese as an official language (AICEP) opens in Luanda (Angola) on 19 April, preceded by the annual session of the organisation’s General Assembly.
Focusing on the theme “Convergent and Connected”, the XVIII AICEP Forum comprises two discussion panels: “Convergent and Connected” on the opening day and “Communications” on 20 April, the day of the closing session. There is also a seminar planned on regulation, to be held on 21 April.
As part of this Forum, the 2009 Portuguese Communications Foundation prize will be delivered, awarded to António José Gamelas, of PT Inovação for the work “Evolution of transport technologies on metro/ aggregation networks”.
