ANACOM has issued the renewal of Vodafone Portugal’s license for use of frequencies allocated to the company for the provision of digital GSM mobile telephone services, made by determination of 20 July 2006.
The Regulator had previously decided to renew, for a period of 15 years and terminating on 19 October 2021, Vodafone’s license for use of frequencies in the provision of terrestrial mobile services with the GSM 900/1800 system. This decision was made by determination of 23 February; at the same time it was decided to submit the draft license to a preliminary hearing of Vodafone Portugal, a process which has now been concluded.
