The 2005 report on the electronic and postal communications situation in Portugal is now available.
The report covers the international framework and in particular the development of the electronic communications sector in the European Union. It also covers telephone services (fixed and mobile), Trunking Mobile Services, internet access and other data transmission services, Cable TV services and postal services.
ANACOM's publication of this report fulfills its obligations as set out by paragraph d) of article 26 of the respective statutes approved by Decree-Law no. 309/200, namely that the regulator must produce and publish, on an annual basis, a report on the communications situation.
Following the practice adopted since 2003 (report on 2002), the paper edition of the report will be incorporated into ANACOM's 2005 Regulation Report, which will be published shortly (also in electronic format).
