The Statistical Yearbook 2004, with data on the communications (electronic and postal communications) sector regarding 2004, is already available.
In the scope of electronic communications, this publication includes the public telecommunications networks, leased lines service, fixed telephony and public telephones service, land mobile service, mobile trunking service, cable networks, data transmission and Internet access services, and the radiocommunications services. It also contains an overview of the importance of the communications sector in the Portuguese economy.
ANACOM releases the statistical yearbook since 1998. Its aim has been, for seven years in a row, to provide the several players in the market, including consumers, with solid data, thus allowing those who invest in, manage and use electronic and postal communications services to make their choices based on unbiased and updated analysis.
