In the scope of its relations with the Latin American Forum of Telecommunications Regulatory Authorities (Regulatel), ANACOM actively participated in the high-level BEREC-Regulatel seminar held last 23-26 August in Antigua, Guatemala, where ANACOM board member Eduardo Cardadeiro gave a presentation on universal service at the session on ''Universal Service - public-private financing''.
ANACOM is also to provide a speaker for the 5th International Regulation Workshop on ''Infrastructure Sharing for the Deployment of ICTs'' on 25-26 October in Cartagena, Colombia, an event organised by the Colombian regulator. The BEREC-Regulatel plenary meeting has also been scheduled for this December in the Dominican Republic.
