By determination of 13 January 2011, ANACOM approved the report containing the analysis of the impact of termination of portability services for non-call related communications (SMS / MMS).
This report contains therein the re-assessment of the process to solve forwarding of non call related communications (SMS /MMS) to subscribers of mobile telephone services with mobile numbers of service providers that discontinue their activities. Noting that currently there is no technical solution developed by international standardization organizations ensuring international communications of that kind of input services. ANACOM maintains the solution already provided in the portability specification without prejudice of the attention that will follow this issue.
