ANACOM approved, by determination of 4 April 2011, a final decision on the alteration of the operating channel of Multiplexer A (Mux A) of the digital terrestrial television service (DTT) in Mainland Portugal, assigned to PT Comunicações (PTC).
The frequency usage right ICP-ANACOM number 6/2008 assigned to PTD will be amended to incorporate the replacement of channel 67 (838-846 MHz) for channel 56 (750-758 MHz).
PTC is now bound to conclude the referred replacement procedure within a maximum period of 16 weeks, from the date of the present determination, except in case of force majeure, duly substantiated and acknowledged as such by this Authority. This process must begin in the relays corresponding to the pilot phases of the cessation of terrestrial analogue transmissions (Alenquer, Cacém e Nazaré).
