Barcelona hosted last 30 September the eighth meeting of the BEREC Regulators Council and Management Committee. Highlights included presentation of the BEREC working programmes and its Office for 2012, as well as approval of the response to the European Commission questionnaire on guidelines for state aid and the “Report on the Implementation of the NGA recommendation”. Likewise approved for public consultation were the guidelines on “Transparency as a tool to achieve Net Neutrality”. Lastly, a proposal on BEREC’s intervention in the Article 7 procedures (phase I) was debated.
