Public consultation on ''remedies'' in the scope of Revision 99

The European Regulators Group (ERG) has in course, up to 4 of July, a public consultation on the named regulatory ''remedies'', to be applyed by the national regulatory authorities (NRA) in case of markets functioning failure.

The consultation, elaborated by the ERG in collaboration with the European Commission, is enrolled in the new rules introduced by the legal framework for the electronic communications sector, applicable from 25 of July.

Created in July of 2002, the ERG is the European Comission reflection, debate and advisor organism, having in view the consolidation of the nets and electronic communications services internal market, assumeing the role of privileged interlocutor between the national regulatory authorities and the Commission.
