''Write someone a letter explaining why water is a precious resource''
If you are between 9 to 15 years old, check the rules and enter!
To enter the competition, write an unpublished composition in the form of a letter "explaining why water is a precious resource".
Only individual entries are accepted. The letter must be written in English and contain between 300 and 800 words. Entry letters must be received no later than 1 March 2013.
The young winners of each category will receive an iPad. If your entry is organised by a school, prizes may also be available for the teachers and the school.
One of the winners will go on to represent Portugal in the international competition organized by UPU - Universal Postal Union in 2013, competing with representatives from the UPU's other member countries.
This initiative is promoted jointly by ANACOM and CTT - Correios de Portugal.
