Decree-Law no. 8/2013 has been published in the Diário da República (Official Journal) of 18 January, enacting the fourth amendment to the rules governing access to and the exercise of the activities of provider of Audiotext services and provider of message-based valued added services.
This decree-law will simplify procedures for service providers registering with ANACOM and will also expand situations in which such applications can be blocked, thereby enhancing prevention of abuse and fraud and strengthening protection of consumer rights.
